Today’s consumers are more health conscious than ever before and nearly half follow a diet that impacts the way they shop for food. This also influences how they regard food components. In fact, 98% believe it’s important for them to consider the ingredients in the products they buy, and three in four shoppers review what is—and isn’t—in those foods. But what ingredients are top of mind for consumers? At what rate are they found in products? Most significantly, how are they used?
