Global Food Forums’ 2023 Clean Label Conference is an in-person event developed to educate food & beverage scientists with the formulation of products created with simple, consumer- and export-friendly ingredient statements.

The 24 Technology Snapshot sessions are an excellent way for food & beverage company R&D to see the latest in emerging, clean label ingredients and technologies.

For ingredient suppliers, it a smart way to showcase their NEW clean label ingredients to an audience of product developer decision-makers.

What is a Technology Snapshot?

Technology Snapshots are 15-minute PowerPoint presentations focused on the technical benefits of a new “clean label” ingredient. They provide R&D with useful, hard-to-obtain technical information. See examples of our 2022 Technology Snapshot presentations.

How are Technology Snapshots Chosen?

From the large pool of submitted presentations, our independent Advisory Panel reviews and ranks all the presentations. The top 24 ranked submissions are included in the Clean Label Conference Program. Panelists, all with advanced degrees, are listed here: )

What is the Cost of a Technology Snapshot?

If invited to present, there is a modest $795 registration fee for the Technology Snapshot presenter, only, to help cover administrative and food costs. [Note: The full-rate registration fee is $1,295.]

What is the Advisory Panel Looking For?

The Advisory Panel evaluates Technology Snapshot Submissions on a number of factors as follows:

  1. How new the ingredient is to the market or a particular application.
  2. The ingredient’s uniqueness in the marketplace due to physiochemical or other characteristics.
  3. Details of an ingredient’s technical/functional benefits.
  4. Will the ingredient make a label declaration shorter and/or simpler (i.e., “cleaner”)?
  5. How well each presentation would contribute to a more diverse selection of ingredient categories at the conference.

Due to the concise nature of the presentation and focus on the technical merits of an ingredient, it is not beneficial to include information on consumer trends, company profile information and PR pitches.

Deadline for  submitting your Technology Snapshot submission forms is close-of-business, Monday, December 12, 2022. Winning companies will be notified by January 16, 2023.
