Clean Label Conference logoThe Clean Label Conference is an in-person event developed to assist and educate food scientists & packaged food and beverage companies with the formulation of products created with simple, consumer- and export-friendly ingredient statements.

The Technology Snapshot sessions are an excellent way for ingredient suppliers to showcase their NEW clean label ingredients to an audience of product developer decision-makers.

What is a Technology Snapshot?

Technology Snapshots are 15-minute PowerPoint presentations on the technical benefits of a “clean label” ingredient. They provide R&D with useful, hard-to-obtain technical information.

How are Technology Snapshots Chosen?

Presentations are chosen by an independent Advisory Panel, all with advanced degrees in Food Science (Panelists listed: )

What is the Cost of a Technology Snapshot?

If invited to present, there is a modest $795 registration fee for the presenter only to help cover administrative and food costs. [Note: The full-rate registration fee is $1,195.]

What is the Advisory Panel Looking For?

The Advisory panel evaluates Technology Snapshot Submissions on a number of factors as follows:

  1. How new the ingredient is to the market or a particular application.
  2. The ingredient’s uniqueness in the marketplace due to physiochemical or other characteristics.
  3. Details of an ingredient’s technical/functional benefits.
  4. Will the ingredient make a label declaration shorter and/or simpler (i.e., “cleaner”)?
  5. How well each presentation would contribute to a more diverse selection of ingredient categories at the conference.

Due to the concise nature of the presentation and focus on the technical merits of an ingredient, it is not beneficial to include information on consumer trends, company profile information and sales sheets/PR pitches.
